Ryanair incident at Beauvais

A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-DWE performing flight FR-5222 from Fez (Morocco) to Paris Beauvais-Tille (France), flew through a flock of birds while on approach to Beauvais-Tille Airport's runway 12, a number of birds impacted the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 12.

The aircraft was unable to perform the next scheduled flight FR-29 to Dublin. 160 passengers were taken to hotels over night. The incident aircraft was able to depart Beauvais the next noon and reached Dublin with a delay of 13 hours.

Beauvais-Tille Airport is located about 30nm northwest of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
